Man With Poop In Mouth - 1994

Is This Image Art?

How dare you even ask! The sublime beauty. The disturbed pallette. The hunger. To some, it may seem shocking, but to others... it is life itself. A thick tube of life essence hovers between two lovers, unafraid to take the chances a petty, classist, middle-class person would only fear.

Gaze into the female's eyes. She is not afraid. No. She is happy, content with the soul-essence that the man hungers for. Reaching. Yearning to be filled with the blood of a thousand martyers. The picture is timeless, unreal, we doubt it's validity. Yet small details, like the bowel gently resting on the man's neck make the picture become alive.

How can a government shield us from such majesty? What right do they have to call one thing "art" and another "obscene"? In this image, I don't see a woman taking a big shit in some guy's mouth, I see the earnest freedom within our souls toiling for an unknown cause. I see a country that comes together under this banner of purity. I see a stream of red-white and blue waste shared between partners. I see America.

Some may cry, "But what about the children?" I can only answer, This image should be in every fucking school book from Grade 2 onward! (First graders are a bit too impressionable)

The GOVERNMENT CAN KISS MY POOP-FILLED ASS!

What is this?
Back in the day (1996), there was a "turn your web page black for 48 hours" thing to show your lack of support for the Communications Decency Act. At the time, Ooze (then located at http://www.io.com/~ooze) was already black, so what could we do? We decided to make this our homepage. Ultimately, this page was not the reason why the legislation was overturned by the Supreme Court, but the reason we got kicked off io.com's servers and made us buy ooze.com and move there. So much for free speech. What can you do?
